This organisation is looking for an experienced Internal Quality Assurer (IQA) who will support the delivery of apprenticeship programmes and short course provision to ensure that Learning Coaches/Tutors are working to the highest of standards. Meeting all the requirements for their learners to successfully achieve their programme qualifications.
A good understanding of awarding bodies and Ofsted EIF are required as well as standard sessions in CPD. Experience within IT & Business Administration would be an advantage. Whilst this role is predominantly an office based role, there will be a requirement to travel to locations within the North East.
The role will involve: -
· Undertaking regular CPD sessions and record it using company relevant documents.
· Visit delivery staff in workplaces to conduct quality assurance checks and provide advice and suggestion for improvement where necessary.
· Work with teaching staff to ensure learners complete their learning on time.
· Carry out compliance checks on learner reviews and other vital documentation relating to the learner journey.
· Ensure that quality cycles are followed.
· Contribute to the company self-assessment process.
· Participate in audits and deep dive’s as required.
· Review support provided to learners with an EHCP to work with teams to ensure learners receive the best possible experience.
· Work with key stakeholders to monitor learner progress and intervene where there is cause for concern.
· Ensure paperwork is completed on time & accurately.
· Carry out customer service calls to learners and employers to gain feedback on the quality of education they receive.
· Provide teaching staff with recorded support based on their training needs.
· Carry out observations of teaching, learning and assessment as required and keep tracking systems updated.
· Ensure observation development plan tasks are completed accurately & on time.
· Chair standardisation meetings and take minutes.
· Ensure that staff complete standardisation surveys following meetings and review the data to improve their experience for next time.
· Check learner, parent/carer, local authority, and employer surveys, share success and make recommendations of how improvements can be made.
· Attend External Quality Assurance (EQA) visits as required and follow up on any actions and recommendations to achieve/maintain Direct Claim Status Additional Information.
· Support with the development of quality resources to ensure currency in learning opportunities and techniques.
