Contract: Fixed Term -12 months


Location: Remote / Home-based


Hours per week: 37


Salary: Up to 27,500 per annum, depending on experience

About The Role


We’re seeking an Independent End Point Assessor (IEPA) within Business Services to join our End Point Assessment Team. This will see you working as part of a dedicated, flexible team, where you can use your professional skills and knowledge whilst developing others. Added to this, you will be working at the forefront of End Point Assessment, as NCFE work with Independent Training Providers, Further Education Colleges, and Employment Providers to drive valuable partnerships across the developing world of Apprenticeships and EPA.


Some Of Your Responsibilities Will Include


As an IEPA, you will play an integral part in the success of apprentices by supporting them in taking the assessments for their apprenticeship and grading their assessment(s).


  • Delivering EPA in line with the Business Standards – Level 3 Business Administrator, Level 2 Customer Service Practitioner, Level 3 Customer Service Specialist and Level 3 Team Leader / Supervisor
  • Utilising NCFE Apprenticeship Services EPA platform to record EPAs and interact with apprentices
  • Attending standardisation events to ensure quality, compliance, and consistency
  • Communicating with apprentices, ITP’s and employers on EPA and grading


We Would Love To Hear From You If You


  • Are a qualified Assessor
  • Carry at least 4 years' occupational competency within Business Administration, Team Leading and Customer Service
  • Have experience of producing clear, accurate and concise written reports
  • Hold a driving licence and have flexibility to travel across your area
  • Are well organised and able to work and share practice with other IEPAs/colleagues
  • Have excellent IT, time management and organisational skills and are able to work independently
  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
