Job Description
The Role
We are looking for a dynamic and conscientious tutor to inspire and engage the young people accessing the college’s Alternative Provision.
In this role, you will be responsible for the delivery of fun and interactive lessons to young people who have difficulty accessing mainstream education. Delivery subjects include maths and English up to GCSE level.

Permanent - Full time, 36 hours a week
Please note: The successful candidates will be subject to an enhanced DBS check.
Skills & Experience
Experience of teaching maths and English to GCSE Level
Experience of working with young people aged 14-16
A working knowledge and understanding of working with young people with SEND
Evidence of effective tracking and monitoring of a wide range of students on a range of different programmes
Enthusiasm for teaching English and maths, and a love of the subject, with an ability to motivate and inspire learners to succeed.
You will hold a recognised teaching qualification (Diploma in Education (DET) or equivalent.
Desirable:
Experience of delivering The Prince’s Trust qualifications
