Job Description

(25.9 hours per week/52 weeks per year)
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and creative lecturer to join our Access to HE team. You would be required to teach across a range of L3 Access to HE and L2 Pre-Access courses. However, your primary role will be as personal tutor to our L3 Access Health & Social Care Diploma.
The ideal candidate will possess a degree in a Health and Social Care-based subject and preferably have experience teaching adult students. You will be responsible for planning and delivering inspiring and engaging lessons, planning assessments, monitoring learner’s progress and maintaining high levels of attendance, retention and achievement.
You must have the ability to engage and motivate adult learners and help to prepare them for studies at Higher Education. A teaching qualification (PGCE) is highly desirable but not essential.
