Fractional Lecturer (0.75FTE) – Performing Arts
2 Years Fixed Term
Salary: £35,170 – £43,357 per annum (Actual Salary £26,377 - £32,517 per annum pro rata)
Campus: Kingsway and Gardyne

We are currently seeking a committed and enthusiastic individual to join our lecturing team for the curriculum area Performing Arts.

The successful applicant will be an integral part of the team, responsible for developing current teaching material, working within college quality systems and offering support and guidance to learners.

This role requires a high level of professional knowledge, experience and understanding of the subject areas and involves delivering high quality teaching and learning, assessment of student work, feedback to students and student achievement.

You will be educated to degree level or hold an equivalent qualification in the subject area, with experience in either of the following; voice, devising, directing, academic research or another theatre related specialism. You will be experienced at delivering across a range of levels (we run from NC, HNC, HND & BA(Hons). You must be familiar (or willing to upskill) with the use of digital technology within teaching and learning. A strong team ethos and the willingness to deliver courses at various levels is required.

If successful Dundee and Angus College will help you to gain registration with the General Teaching Council Scotland (GTCS). The College will work with you and support you to achieve the qualifications and professional learning required for registration, you must be willing to undertake any training and development necessary to gain registration.
