The role of the Compliance Officer is a full-time permanent position that requires you to support compliance across the business in line with government policies and changes, as well as Ofqual requirements for EPA.


You will be required to support the Head of Compliance with the management of compliance and drive common approaches across the business as well as ensure full compliance with all internal policies, processes, and carry out audit work.

Responsibilities:

  • Support fully compliant processes across the business to ensure they are established and adhered to, in line with Ofqual General Conditions Recognition and all relevant assessment plans
  • Support where required external audits and associated platforms / portals
  • Support the cultural change towards total compliance in line with Ofqual requirements
  • Assist in the preparation for ESFA and EQA audits
  • Support Head of Onboarding & Development with on boarding of new Independent Assessors & non assessment staff to ensure compliance
  • Support the Head of Compliance in gathering evidence to support the Annual Statement of Compliance and managing actions related to identified risk
  • Carry out relevant investigation work relating to Enquiries and Appeals
  • Ensure thorough recording of all actions relating to audit work and risk
  • Compile reports and data dashboards highlighting risks and identifying solutions
  • Support Head of Compliance with the maintenance and implementation of the risk register
  • Implement the requirements as per the annual compliance calendar
  • Any additional reasonable requests to support Senior Management Team
