JOB REF: 1678: DIRECTOR OF LEARNING: IOT AND CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRIES

Salary is circa £46,000 per annum, negotiable for the right candidate

The Institutes of Technology (IoT) have been formed across England to enhance the career and employment chances of young people and adults. At the Lincolnshire Institute of Technology – Boston College, we aim to develop the talent and skills to enable a dynamic, technology-driven economy, initially through engineering.

We are looking for an ambitious, dynamic and self-motivated Director of Learning for our IoT and Construction Industries area including digital technologies and motor vehicle. We seek an innovator who has a passion for technical and professional education and who is committed to deliver their very best for our students. The successful post-holder will inspire and motivate through a values-driven leadership style, taking our managers and their impressive teams to their next level. With over £20 million investment in the area in the last few years including in green technologies, robotics and automation, you will be joining a college that works hand in glove with employers and other stakeholders to provide training and learning in state-of-the-art facilities.

As a member of the College Leadership Team, you will play a pivotal role in driving forward programmes for young people, apprentices, HE students and commercial trainees. Your confident communication skills will secure and grow our partnerships, delivering on promises for a high-quality offer that exceeds expectations for the benefit of local, regional and national employers and our community.
