About Us
Apple Construction Training Limited is a specialist Construction Training Company based in the Midlands, at Fenny Compton near Southam in Warwickshire. We provide a range of construction and safety courses including the CSCS card, CPCS Red and Blue cards in a wide selection of plant courses, NPORS certificates, construction related NVQ qualifications, EUSR (Energy & Utility Skills register), NWSR, Site Safety Plus courses and many construction related Health and Safety Courses.
Position Description
Train and test candidates to awarding body requirements in a range of Construction Plant machinery
Assess candidates to NVQ awarding body standards - desirable
Provide an excellent experience to learners through exemplary learning and technical skills.
Deliver programmes of study in an enthusiastic, structured and timely manner ensuring they meet awarding body approval
Participate in relevant and appropriate training and development as required
Skills and experience
Experienced Trainer/Assessor – preferably in the Construction industry
Desirable qualifications (not essential):
- Qualified NVQ Assessor in Construction Plant
- CPCS Tester Card
- A1 Assessor
- CPCS/NPORS Tester Qualification
- First Aid,
- NEBOSH Construction
Highly organised and takes pride and ownership of skills delivery.
Positive teaching style with excellent presentation skills.
Ability to adapt and learn quickly.
Excellent communication, IT and written skills.
Ability to work as part of a flexible team.
Full UK driving License is essential.
Remuneration and benefits
Salary: £30,000 - £45,000 per annum
Holiday: 20 days plus Bank Holidays (increasing as per employee Handbook)
Sick Pay: SSP
Pension: Contributory Pension Scheme
