Team: Corndel Advance


Package: £50,000 - £60,000, plus bonus potential


Location: London based with 1-2 days in the office per week


Salary: Pension, Unlimited leave, Flexible working

Corndel has grown rapidly since its inception in 2016 through high-quality leadership and digital training programmes for the UK’s largest corporates, funded by the Apprenticeship Levy. Our next-stage growth plans include expanding our offerings to meet large corporate leadership and data training needs on a global scale. Corndel will lead the training industry with innovative, high-impact, best-in-class programmes and products.


As Client Director, you will engage target clients to drive accelerated growth of our fast-growing commercial training business, Corndel Advance. You will report to the Managing Director of Corndel Advance and work closely with the Directors of Commercial Programmes and the wider business development team.


Responsibilities include:


  • Working towards a challenging financial sales target.
  • Supporting the growth and development of Corndel Advance.
  • Working in a research and consultative framework to understand our target clients’ strategic objectives and how commercially funded leadership and data programmes can align to form part of a solution.
  • Generating sales leads through introductions and prospecting at large companies in our target market.
  • Working closely with the Marketing team to organise and manage targeted marketing campaigns.
  • Leading campaigns and stakeholder engagement strategies to win new clients.
  • Working closely with the Account Management and New Client Acquisition teams to ensure we continue our collaborative approach with target clients.
  • Supporting in the creation of presentations, bids and proposals.


Experience And Skills


Essential:


  • Exceptional relationship management skills.
  • A track-record of achieving or exceeding sales targets, preferably in a business-to-business, solution-based sales role.
  • Experience of engaging and influencing senior decision-makers at large businesses.
  • Excellent negotiation skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communicator.
  • Thrives working at pace and to deadlines.
  • Exhibits high energy, commitment and collaboration.
  • Passionate about the power of education and training.


Desirable:


  • Strong commercial awareness and understanding of different business environments and priorities.
  • Experience in negotiating pricing B2B commercial training programmes.
  • Experience of workforce and people development in large corporate settings.
