About the job

Responsible for driving revenue growth through strategic management of a caseload of key accounts within the specified region. Active account management of existing and new accounts, including private training providers, employers, employer providers using data and management information reports.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Driving revenue growth within a set of key accounts to deliver on annual targets for the Apprenticeships division

  • Proactive account management to ensure customer retention and relationship management

  • Drive the sale of new products and services including new digital offers with new and existing accounts

  • Developing solutions and ideas to drive volume growth for consortia, employer groups in relation to the new Apprenticeship standards

  • Effective and timely management of revenue pipeline and ongoing activity using Salesforce

  • Managing monthly reporting and KPIs for all accounts

  • Work closely with colleagues across Product, Customer Services, FE Sales, Assessment services to ensure an effective end to end customer experience

  • Contribute to bids/ tenders and management reporting functionalities to win new business

  • Champion a ‘customer first’ culture across Pearson, ensuring that all decisions are made with reference to the needs of our customers and learners

  • Contribute to divisional strategy discussions to ensure market perspective drives product and service development and delivery

  • Manage enhancement of product and service knowledge for existing and new products and services to drive meaningful customer conversations.

About you

Desired behavioural competencies:

Essential skills, qualifications and experience:

  • Qualified to level 3 or above, desirable Degree or equivalent, or equivalent vocational qualification in business, management or sales

  • Experience and understanding of qualifications and the UK education market and environment (e.g. colleges, private training providers)

  • Business development and/ or sales track record

  • Experience within an education sector organisation ideally apprenticeships

  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office

  • Full/Clean driving licence
