Salary: £22,344 to £25,657 per annum

Contract Type: 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year, permanent

Location: Paignton, Devon

We are offering an exciting opportunity to join our Construction team.

As an Assessor Coach, you will be responsible for supporting Apprentices on our Bricklaying programmes. Working with the curriculum team, this will involve liaising with apprentices and employers to organise workplace visits to complete a range of activities, including coaching, assessment and apprenticeship reviews. You will be required to support the curriculum team with planning/organising End Point Assessment which may include liaising with the relevant awarding bodies. You will also be expected to support 1:1/group training and Tutorial/Personal Development activities; develop competency in the use of the College’s e-portfolio so as to provide effective use by apprentices in the uploading of evidence as well as off the job training. You will also look for new opportunities for apprenticeships with providers.

Ideally you would hold an assessing qualification but for the right candidate training will be provided. It is essential that you hold GCSE maths and English at Grade C/Level 4 or above and have a level 2 qualification or above in a Bricklaying or a relevant vocational area, and evidence of continued professional and personal development. You will be flexible, able to problem solve and want to guide the progression of others.
