Job Description

The Colleges' Partnership is seeking an Assessor to support learners through assessment as they complete their Army apprenticeship. This full-time (37 hours per week), role is primarily based in Buflord, though travel to other sites (Predominantly Wiltshire, Dorset and Somerset) will be required.


Key responsibilities include:


  • Assessing/reviewing learners
  • Delivering Functional Skills Training and invigilation
  • Acting as a mentor and coach to learners, providing information, advice, and guidance as required
  • Identifying safeguarding concerns or additional support needs


The ideal candidate will have:


  • Sector competent in Telecoms/Network Engineering L4
  • Assessor Coach L4, or equivalent (e.g. CAVA), or willing to work towards
  • Willing to work towards Learning & Skills Teacher L5
  • Functional Skills Level 2, or equivalent
  • Experience of teaching, assessment or delivery to learners
