Based at either Brighton MET or Northbrook College

22 hours per week, 52 weeks per year

Fixed term until 30 June 2023

An opportunity has arisen for a Administrative Assistant to work within the Quality team to provide an effective and efficient administrative service.

You should have experience of working within an administrative role and within a customer focused environment. You will also need a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel and Outlook.

Job overview:

  • To provide an efficient and effective administrative service for the Quality team, dealing with enquiries from staff.
  • To provide effective support services to staff and students within the colleges, maintaining excellent customer service at all times.
  • To update and maintain diaries and calendars, databases, records and reports.
  • To liaise with staff and external organisations, as appropriate.
  • To prepare documentation and correspondence to support the core business and administration of the area and ensure that information is sent out in a timely manner.
  • To provide effective administrative support for the successful implementation of curriculum and cross College initiatives, including online student record systems, Quality tracking systems and documents, and other curriculum software.

The working pattern and preferred base location for this role will be discussed at interview.
