Some of the typical duties involve monitoring daily communications within the finance team and answering any queries. The areas that the accounts assistant will cover are:
Accounts Receivable
- Tracking incoming payments for international students
- Recording and reconciling all incoming financial transactions received
- Issuing invoices and receipts to the students for money received
- Resolving outstanding payments / queries and sending statements
- Credit control duties with regards to outstanding dues
Accounts Payable
- Communicating with relevant suppliers to process invoicing or payment queries
- Attaching the correct documentation to invoices and reconciling purchase orders to invoices received
- Taking care of administrative tasks, such as correspondence, filing and printing as and when required
Monthly Payroll
- Assist managers with the Monthly Payroll duties
Expertise Required:
- Good communication skills both written and verbal
- Basic bookkeeping and accountancy skills
- Computer literacy and a working knowledge of accounting is advantageous but not required
- Ability to work with complex Excel Spreadsheets
- Understanding of financial systems and processes
- Strong analytical skills to evaluate financial data and make recommendations
- Strong interpersonal skills

Salary: £22,000.00-£28,000.00 per year

- Accounting: 2 years (required)
- finance and accounting: 2 years (preferred)
