The School of Creative Arts is a dynamic and forward-thinking department. In Media we have provision from Levels 1 to 3 along with Industry Bootcamp provision for 19+ learners. At Levels 1 to 3 we deliver the UAL specifications which allows us to deliver a project focused curriculum that places creativity and individual projects at the centre of our delivery model. We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Lecturer of Media to teach across all levels. You will have extensive experience of the industry or a proven track record of delivering inspirational teaching and learning on media courses; you will be passionate to pass your knowledge and experience onto the students you teach. The role will focus on the practical delivery of media skills. Duties will include planning, teaching and assessing. Additionally, you will provide academic and pastoral support to students and respond to challenges in a creative way and so ensuring that students are encouraged and developed to reach their full potential. Candidates should be dedicated to delivering the highest standards of teaching and learning and the advancement of student attainment. You will be self-motivated and proactive in developing and maintaining quality standards on programmes and demonstrate a commitment to the School and College's improvement plans. For the next stage in the process, you will be required to attend the College’s premises, unless exceptional circumstances apply.
