You will shape and deliver a people development strategy that builds capability, supports future growth and helps create a high performance culture across the organisation.

This is a great opportunity for someone who is keen to build and develop a L&D from the ground up!

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement a people development strategy that builds capability and drives performance
Work with senior leadership to identify development needs and align learning initiatives with business priorities
Design and deliver leadership development programmes
Design and deliver management development to strengthen management capability
Develop and maintain performance management processes that support accountability and growth
Support the design and rollout of job architecture and career frameworks
Conduct skills audits and skills mapping
Oversee CPD, apprenticeship programmes and early career development initiatives
Source and manage third party training providers
Manage the people development budget and external supplier relationships
Ensure training materials and mentoring support are available for apprentices and trainees

Skills and Experience Required

Experience creating and delivering L&D strategy
Strong background in designing and delivering development programmes
Strategic thinker with a hands on approach
Passion for people development and building an engaging workplace culture
Innovative mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
Strong commercial and analytical skills
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Desirable

Degree in HR, Organisational Psychology or related field (or equivalent experience)
Experience designing and implementing leadership, management and early careers programmes
Experience building capability frameworks and performance management processes
