Role Description

This is a Full-time on-site role for an Electrical Trainer /Assessor located in Chesterfield. As an Electrical Trainer, you will be responsible for training and developing the skills of our students. You will deliver high-quality training in electrical courses designed to teach students to achieve nationally recognised qualifications in the Electrical Industry. Within this role it is anticipated that 50% of your time is spent assessing candidates and 50% of your time is spent training students.

Qualifications

Ideally,

Previous experience as an electrical trainer or electrical engineer with the ability to deliver electrical training courses
A sound knowledge of electrical installations, maintenance, inspection and testing with JIB Gold card or ability to obtain it is a must.
Professional qualifications such as City and Guilds 2382, 2391 or 2392, EAL 4337, 2357 or NVQ level 3 Electrical Installations
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and motivate students
Full training will be provided if required in any aspect of the role
A patient and adaptable approach to problem-solving and mentoring
Able to keep up-to-date records and provide feedback to management
Excellent organisational skills, detail-oriented, and able to work independently

Salary dependant on experience and qualifications, it will be in line with current industry salaries.
