Role Description
This is a contract hybrid role based in Wigan, with the flexibility to work remotely for certain tasks. As a Trainer, you will conduct training courses on topics like transport management, driver CPC, and train-the-trainer programs. Responsibilities include preparing and delivering interactive course materials, providing hands-on practical training, assessing driver capabilities, and ensuring compliance with all transport and safety regulations. Additionally, there will be an opportunity to engage in audits and consultations with clients to provide tailored solutions for their operational needs.
Full time, 4 or 5 days per week. National coverage requires some travel.
Office based in Wigan. Car/van provided for business use.

Qualifications
NRI/NVDIR/VTCT/ADI qualification preferred
Clean HGV Category CE required
Experience in delivering training and workshops, including driver assessments, Driver CPC, and train-the-trainer programs
Strong knowledge of transport regulations, compliance, and Health & Safety standards
Skills in Adult Education, Teaching, and Instruction, particularly within the transport industry
Proficiency in auditing, consultancy, and operator licensing procedures an advantage
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in hybrid settings and manage responsibilities both on-site and remotely
Qualifications in Transport Management, LGV Driving Instruction, or similar are highly desirable
Certification in adult education or health & safety is an advantage
