Job Opportunity: Driver at Heatherwood Court, Pontypridd

We have an exciting opportunity for a Driver to support the team at Heatherwood Court, Pontypridd. This role involves assisting our service users to attend activities and appointments. As a driver, you will act as a secondary Support Worker when out in the community. Therefore, in addition to a clean UK driving licence, ideally, you will have experience in a similar role within the care sector and possess compassion for others.

Details of the role:

Part-time, 2 days a week, with an 8-hour shift
Flexible hours to meet service needs
Alternating shifts: one week Thursday and Friday; the next Saturday and Sunday

Located in the countryside near Cardiff, Heatherwood Court offers accommodation across four single-gender units.

Established in 2008, Heatherwood Court provides forensic treatment and rehabilitation for individuals who meet the following criteria:

Adults with severe and enduring mental illness requiring a low secure environment
Male and female mentally disordered offenders requiring a low secure environment
Women with mental health needs and personality disorders requiring a locked ward

The focus at Heatherwood is on rehabilitation and recovery, helping patients develop relationship and life skills, resilience, and coping strategies to promote emotional stability and facilitate successful community reintegration.
