An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented and enthusiastic Lecturer in Geography to join a successful and growing Sixth Form and Further Education team in Wakefield. The Role

You will deliver engaging and inspiring Geography lessons across A Level programmes, supporting students to achieve outstanding academic results while developing their confidence, independence, and critical thinking skills.

Key responsibilities include:

Delivering high-quality A Level Geography teaching
Planning engaging lessons that challenge and inspire learners
Monitoring student progress and providing meaningful feedback
Supporting achievement through targeted interventions
Creating an inclusive and positive learning environment
Developing high-quality teaching resources and schemes of work
Contributing to curriculum development and departmental success
Providing academic and pastoral support to students
Maintaining accurate learner records and progress data

What We're Looking For

Holds a relevant degree in Geography or a related subject
Has experience teaching Geography at A Level, FE, or secondary level
