The Client
We’re looking to recruit an Operations Management Trainee to work on our Capital Works contract in Sheffield and the surrounding areas. This program offers a structured, fast-track route into a career in Operational Management to give you the knowledge, qualifications and on-the-job learning to go on and be a leader within Fortem.
Duties & Responsibilities
As an Operational Management Trainee within one of our Capital and Retrofit Works contracts your career is all about working with Fortem colleagues and supply chain. You will: • Plan and manage the operational delivery of repairs in our customers’ homes • Ensure the work is completed safely, on time but to a high quality. • Be exposed all areas of your chosen discipline to develop your understanding of the business. • Work alongside other experience business managers to develop your skills and understanding of the wider business • Be supported to study a relevant higher level apprenticeship qualification whilst gaining relevant work experience Applicants for this Trainee programme can be either: • Sixth Form/College leavers who have completed A Levels, a BTEC, T levels, an HNC but doesn’t want to go to University full time • Someone with related work experience • A Graduate with a degree in a Construction, Operations or a Commercial related subject – if you have this we can offer you a 2-year programme • A Graduate with a non-Construction related degree – If you have this we can offer you a 3-year programme
What You Will Need
Essential: • Fantastic verbal and written communication skills • Strong work ethic • A learning mindset • Self-motivated and ambitious • Full UK Driving Licence (no more than 6 points)
