The Role

As Principal, your responsibilities will include:

Providing strategic and operational leadership across all departments
Shaping curriculum development to maintain educational excellence
Serving as Chief Accounting Officer, ensuring strong financial stewardship
Representing the institution externally at local, regional, and national levels
Promoting safeguarding, equality, and a positive learning culture
Driving innovation in program delivery, partnerships, and growth
Leading and developing the Senior Management Team, ensuring alignment with the organization’s vision and compliance

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will have:

Extensive senior leadership experience in education
A proven track record in strategic planning, quality improvement, and financial management
Experience in further education, apprenticeships, and ideally higher education
A strong commitment to inclusion, learner success, and innovation
An inspiring leadership style with a collaborative, empowering approach

Essential qualifications include a degree and a recognized teaching qualification, while a higher degree or leadership/professional accreditation is desirable.
