Scale 1, points 2-4 - £19,226 to £19,834 per annum (£23,656 - £24,404 per annum FTE)

Contract type: 35 hours per week - term time only, temporary for 12 months in the first instance

Broadway First School are about to embark on an ambitious and exciting journey to expand its Laugh ‘N’ Learn Preschool provision. From September 2025, Laugh ‘N’ Learn Nursery will open its doors to babies from 9 months old.

The governors of Broadway First School are looking for enthusiastic, passionate and highly committed Nursery Practitioner to contribute to this new chapter for the school. Our Nursery Practitioner will ideally hold a minimum of a Level 2 approved qualification together with experience of working in a nursery setting with babies and toddlers. You will have a knowledge and understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage recognising your responsibilities towards Safeguarding, Special Educational Needs and other legislative requirements for working with young children. You will have a strong commitment to delivering high-quality care to young people and be able to demonstrate the school’s ethos and values within the setting through your daily work. There may be an opportunity for an outstanding candidate to enrol on an apprenticeship to achieve the required qualification on the job.
