Role: Training Coordinator - Electrical
Location: Tresham College - Corby Campus
Salary/Benefits: Between £29,870 and £39,696 (Pro Rata) per annum DOE and Qualifications, 27 days annual leave plus Bank holidays, People’s pension, Retail and Leisure Discounts, excellent professional and personal development opportunities, accessing college courses.
Hours/Weeks: 22.2 hours per week - 3 days a week - we can be flexible on the days
Contract Type: Permanent - Part Time

About the role

We are currently seeking a Training Coordinator in Electrical to join our Apprenticeships department at The Bedford College Group.

As a Training Coordinator, you play an important role in the success of our students through:

Overall Responsibilities - Coordinate training for work-based provision; deliver and assess knowledge and competence; update tracking systems; maintain relationships with employers and tutors.
Main Duties - Induct, assess, and support learners; deliver sector-based training; conduct workplace assessments; provide feedback; set SMART targets; maintain accurate records; liaise with employers; participate in quality assurance; engage in team development; prepare for inspections; understand funding; complete learning plans; follow disciplinary procedures; liaise with support teams; maintain confidentiality; deliver information and guidance; refer business leads.
Statutory Duties - Promote safeguarding; promote equality and diversity; follow health and safety requirements; participate in training and development.

About you

Qualifications - Level 3 or above in sector specialism; TAQA L3 and L4 Certificates; GCSEs in English and Maths; L3 Award in Education and Training.
Experience - Working in relevant sectors; assessing NVQ level 3 work; high performance in previous roles; working with diverse backgrounds; promoting equality and diversity.
Skills - Confident use of IT; effective training delivery; robust feedback; supporting learners through various methods; maintaining rapport; prioritising workload; working under pressure; forming good relationships; high-quality learner experience; promoting College’s reputation.
Personal Qualities - Commitment to equality and diversity; safeguarding responsibilities; forming appropriate relationships; continuous skill updates; flexible approach; willingness to travel; awareness of health and safety.
Additional Requirements - Current driving licence and access to a car.
